About us

A hotel where nobody rushes

Alex Hotel has twelve rooms and remembers every guest by name. All of the rooms are on the ground floor (the architect's idea), which is why it's genuinely quiet here. No noise from upper floors and no lifts at 3 a.m., and we've been welcoming guests like this since 2009.

The courtyard has a garden and a pond with koi carp and a turtle; you can pick up fish food at the front desk. Odesa-Holovna station is a six-minute walk and Pryvoz market a little further, while Derybasivska Street is about two and a half kilometres away, so you can stroll to the market in the morning for cherries or fresh fish, come back for breakfast, and only then head into the old town.

What guests usually ask

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3 p.m. and check-out is by 11 a.m. Earlier check-in or later check-out is possible when a room is free; please arrange it with the front desk in advance, as it may cost extra.
I'm arriving at night. Can I still check in?
Yes, the front desk is open 24 hours. If it's long before check-in time, you can leave your luggage in storage.
How far is the railway station?
About 500 metres from Odesa-Holovna (Odessa main station), a six- or seven-minute walk. Details on the hotel near the railway station page.
Is there a bomb shelter?
Yes, there's a shelter inside the hotel. At check-in the staff will show you the evacuation plan and where the shelter is.
Can I bring my dog or cat?
Yes, on prior agreement. Write or call before booking so we can pick the right room.
Where can I park?
There are free parking spaces for guests inside the hotel's enclosed grounds.
How do I cancel?
On the flexible rate, cancellation 48 hours or more before arrival is free; later than that, we keep the cost of one night. The non-refundable rate can't be refunded. Full terms are in our refund policy (Ukrainian).
How can I pay?
The flexible rate is paid on arrival or by pre-authorising your card; the non-refundable rate is paid in full when you book. If your rate has no prepayment, you can pay cash at the front desk on arrival.
